"We are still burning with bright ideas picked up in Exeter!"
Ana Melo, Portugal, 2015
This one week course is for secondary school teachers and school managers who are interested in the English Education system, its inspection system and the latter’s role in quality development in schools.
The course includes a visit to a local secondary school, meetings with school managers and the opportunity to observe class teaching in English schools. The course is coordinated by a senior IPC teacher trainer who will introduce relevant language points and facilitate discussions and presentations on the relevant topics. The objective of the course is to introduce concepts that can be adapted to participants’ own schools and teaching situations and to develop linguistic and cultural competences that will support participant schools’ European Development Plans.
