Tune Into English
Our most popular project, this one week intensive course combines 15 hours of English language training with a programme of visits and activities around Exeter.
Minimum group size: 15
Tune Into English is for students who have been studying English for 2 years or more and have enough English to manage in a homestay situation. 18 hours of English per week focus on speaking and listening and the aim is to encourage students (already with plenty of theoretical knowledge) to tune into the language. The right levels of confidence and motivation encourage students to really get to grips with using their English.

2 half day trips to the seaside and countryside locations

Kayaking/Dragon Boat Racing/Stand Up Paddle Boarding afternoon
Visit a typical English pub (aged 16 or above)
This intensive course gets results. In addition to the linguistic and cultural benefits, school groups travelling from abroad make new connections with one another in a new setting and these project weeks or fortnights become memorable aspects of a child's education.
