This two week course explores techniques to motivate and encourage secondary level learners to use the language as a tool for real communication. Personal language development concentrates on oral fluency and colloquial English. Methodology concentrates on practical ideas for teaching Secondary level students (aged 11 - 19 years). British Institutions Language and Culture (BILC)

A course combining personal language development with an introduction to some of our institutions - newspapers and their role in British Society, government, the legal system and the British education system. Organised visits will include some of the following depending on the time of year and availability; the Houses of Parliament, the local press, the Magistrate's or Crown Court, County Hall, (the seat of local government), a secondary school or tertiary college, places of historic or geographic interest.
