SENSE the history
IPC is based in a historic building overlooking Exeter quayside and the river Exe. Colleton Crescent was built for the wool merchants who brought prosperity to the city of Exeter in the 17th century, and was the subject of a painting by the English artist William Turner. The English authoress Beatrix Potter was a regular visitor to number 9 Colleton Crescent. You will sense the history as you walk towards school for the first time.
A Warm Welcome Awaits
The IPC Team is dedicated to making you feel welcome and well cared for. IPC has been offering Teacher Training and English Language training since 1993. In 2008 we asked our students and overseas organisers to choose 5 words to describe our work. The words most commonly chosen were; FRIENDLY, RELIABLE, PROFESSIONAL, EXPERIENCED, CREATIVE. We aim to create a warm atmosphere in which our students and teacher course participants will feel confident and content.
Content students work better and achieve better results.
Convenience and comfort
The school is a short walk from the centre of Exeter. The building offers 9 comfortable classrooms, a kitchen which dispenses many hundreds of thousands of free cups of tea and coffee to course participants each year, and 2 computer rooms. A wireless signal is accessible throughout the building and we offer free internet access in our suites of netbooks and laptop computers.

We want to welcome you into our special community and show you the best that the city of Exeter and the surrounding area has to offer. All of our courses combine serious academic content with a programme of visits and activities that will leave you in no doubt that Exeter is a town you will want to return to.
