Please check out our exciting new Teacher Training courses!

Here at IPC we have been involved in the European Project for more than 20 years. Our involvement has been in welcoming teachers and students from all over Europe and European Union ‘applicant’ member states to join courses. We have hosted in-service training courses for teachers in all education sectors funded by the Socrates, Leonardo, Comenius, Grundtvig, Tempus, Lifelong Learning and now Erasmus Plus funding programmes. In this time we have welcomed more than 10,000 teachers to participate in courses. These courses have created networks of teachers around Europe and beyond.

We are supporters of Europe and we believe that the cultural diversity that membership of the European Union has brought to the UK has made it a better country to live in.

One point that I am proud to report to all of our visitors past, present and future is that Exeter voted to REMAIN in the EU. Exeter is a diverse community with many people from different countries living and working contentedly together – happily integrated.

We feel passionately about maintaining close contacts with Europe and that whatever new system emerges to replace our formal membership should be fair to the peoples of EU member states as well as the UK. We hope that this new arrangement will allow IPC to continue to welcome teachers to Exeter.

Above all else I want to assure you that you are very very welcome here in Exeter and that we will do everything we can to ensure that your time with IPC will be positive and memorable. We hope that your course will contribute to your European Development Plan and that your colleagues and pupils back at school will be able to share in your experience and take some profit from it. In this way we are all fulfilling the aims and objectives of the EU Erasmus Plus funding programme.
