Dao has been providing beautiful flowers for IPC for many years now. She is a qualified British Master Florist and has always wanted to run her own cafe. Being Thai, goodwill and hospitality flow in Dao's veins - she loves sharing beautiful things with other people, and she loves welcoming people. If you have tasted or experienced Dao's hospitality you will remember it.
Dao teamed up with her lovely Japanese friend Junko and together they created the Pink Ginger Flower cafe. The cafe would combine Junko's exquisite cakes with Dao's beautiful flowers and her famous hospitality.

So why is it our cafe ? Well Dao is Ben's wife and IPC decided to invest in starting a new cafe. But the truth is that it is Dao's cafe - her brainchild and her initiative. IPC is really just a supporter. We recommend the cafe to all of our students. Some students have visited for special 'Cream Tea Afternoons' on their progamme at the cafe. This involves an introduction to a traditional cream tea with the Pink Ginger twist.
Ben, Dao and Junko travelled to Japan in 2023 to establish a partnership with Matcha exporters in the little Japanese town of Ine. They supply the best matcha and we use this in our drinks and cakes. Matcha experts often comment upon the quality of the matcha.
Since opening in 2024 the cafe has established itself as a favourite haunt of international students - for many it is a home from home.
