Students attending IPC Exeter school group programmes stay with carefully selected homestay situations in Exeter and the surrounding area.

Homestay accommodation is an important part of the learning experience, giving students the opportunity to practise English in a real-life environment and experience British culture first-hand.

All hosts are chosen for their suitability, friendliness and commitment to supporting international students. IPC Exeter works closely with homestay providers to ensure high standards of accommodation and student welfare.

Our hosts aim to provide a warm welcome, a comfortable room and a positive family environment. Students are typically accommodated in shared rooms and receive three meals per day.

IPC Exeter monitors homestay provision and remains in regular contact with hosts during each programme. Support is available at all times should any issues arise.

Your safety and wellbeing are our priority. All homestay accommodation is carefully selected, monitored, and regularly reviewed to ensure it meets our required standards.

Homes are inspected before students are placed and reviewed on a regular basis

Appropriate background checks, including Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks where required, are carried out

We match students and hosts carefully to ensure a suitable and supportive placement

Students under 18 are placed with appropriate hosts and receive additional care and supervision in line with our safeguarding procedures
