OUR UNIQUE STORY

For over 30 years, International Projects Centre (IPC) has welcomed students and teachers to Exeter. As a British Council–accredited school based on historic Colleton Crescent — just above the Quayside and five minutes from Exeter Cathedral — we combine heritage, beauty and accessibility in one of England’s most distinctive small cities.

We are The Teachers’ Choice.

IPC works in close partnership with educators. We understand the responsibility involved in bringing students abroad, and we design our programmes to support group leaders fully — academically, practically and personally.

Teachers who work with IPC are treated as valued professionals. Group leaders are invited to stay in our luxury riverside accommodation or with one of our experienced Group Leader Hosts, providing comfort, privacy, good food and proximity to the school. During their stay, teachers also receive complimentary vouchers for refreshments at our centrally located café — a practical way to relax and unwind as students are managed by our staff at school.

These are not extras. They reflect how we think. When teachers feel confident and supported, students thrive.

Today, IPC delivers:

Bespoke school group programmes

Adult General English courses starting every Monday throughout the year

Junior and adult summer schools

Teacher Training courses funded by Erasmus Plus

With the UK expected to rejoin Erasmus+ in 2027, IPC looks forward to welcoming a new generation of teachers to Exeter. With three decades of experience in teacher development, we are ready to contribute actively to the next phase of European educational collaboration.

IPC combines experience, stability and ambition — committed to high academic standards and to building long-term international partnerships that endure.
