IPC works with experienced, professional staff who are committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for students from around the world. Our busiest period runs from June to September, and we are recruiting for teaching, activity and homestay roles during this time.

Teachers

We welcome applications from qualified teachers holding a degree and a recognised TEFL qualification with a practical teaching component, together with at least two years’ classroom experience. Teachers work on our school group and summer programmes, delivering engaging lessons to international students in a supportive academic environment.

Teacher Trainers

For our teacher development courses, we are interested in experienced trainers holding a DELTA qualification (or equivalent) and substantial teaching experience. Trainers work with practising teachers from across Europe and contribute to IPC’s professional development programmes.

Guides and Activity Leaders

We are always pleased to hear from confident, well-organised individuals who can lead cultural visits and excursions in Exeter and the surrounding region. Knowledge of local history and attractions, combined with the ability to engage international students, is essential.

Homestay Hosts

All IPC students stay with carefully selected homestay hosts in the Exeter area. We are always interested in hearing from welcoming households who can provide a clean, comfortable environment for visiting students. Safeguarding checks, appropriate safety certification and a friendly, responsible approach are essential.

If you are interested in working with IPC, please contact us with a CV and brief covering note outlining your relevant experience.
